A young woman who participated in one of our study groups volunteered to be a henchman. I think I may have discouraged her because we are still working the kinks out of our plans and I was unclear on our terminology. The following is a preview of what we are probably going to be looking for when we start recruiting. The ranks and their descriptions may change as the villain and the project are developed.

Minion - A minion is someone who is willing to state that the villain is their lord and master but who won't be expected to do anything in particular. In effect, it is a fan club.

Henchman - These are minions who are willing to serve the villain in some way. We will probably have some system in place to reward henchmen for exemplary service.

Agent - These are female followers who will help spread the word of the villain and his cause. As his public relations representatives they will be selected for their charm, cunning and beauty. We will be providing uniforms and training that will help them perform their duties. One or more agents will accompany the villain to all of his appearances.

Soldier - These are the villain's bodyguards. They will be put through strenuous combat training so all applicants will have to be tested. Only the best of the best will be chosen. Uniforms and gadgets will be provided to those who pass muster and complete the training. A team of two or more soldiers will accompany the villain to all of his appearances.

Lieutenant - There will be an inner circle of elite followers chosen by the villain to perform specific functions in his organization. These followers will eventually be assigned code names and costumes.
